I have 73 articles in peer-review journals, 13 as first author and 19 as PhDs and postdocs advisor. h-index=25. Total number of citations = 2116 (not including papers co-authored as member of MSL team). I publish on a variety of topics related to ice and organics in space: 1. lab simulations of ice, organics, and carbon dust, 2. observations of ice, carbon dust and gas molecules, 3. cometary missions as co-investigator of COSAC instrument on board ESA-Rosetta lander, 4. analysis of interplanetary dust provided by NASA and carbon-rich meteorites, 5. Martian dust analogs during participation in NASA-MSL missions. In addition to A&A, ApJ, MNRAS, I published in Nature (first synthesis of amino acids in simulated interstellar ice), Science (paper on Rosetta results and papers on NASA-MSL results), Phys. Rev. Letters (first evidence for excitons in ices), Chem. Soc. Rev. (review on prebiotic chemistry in ice), Angewandte (book review), and PNAS (paper on first detection of diamino acids in a meteorite and paper on a detailed study of the CO2 ice structure). In addition, I have contributed very significantly to the quantification of ice irradiation processes with UV and X-rays, in particular a) the photon-induced desorption processes with the support of my students, we found two different photodesorption patterns with increasing or nearly constant rates, b) the comparison of swift heavy ion ice processing to UV irradiation, c) the UV-absorption cross sections of the common ice components, most of them had not been published before. The applicant has also participated in 11 financed research projects, he is a frequent reviewer of national projects and agencies in France (ANR), UK (STFC and NERC), Germany (DFG), Poland (NSC), ERC Consolidator proposal in 2018, and acted as referee in various journals: A&A, ApJ, MNRAS, Icarus, Angewante, PCCP, Science, etc. He has been an invited speaker and chairman at various international conferences, including the IAU General Assembly in 2012 and the Goldschmidt Conference 2016. He has participated as a guest lecturer in 4 international summer schools dedicated to Spectroscopy and Astrochemistry.
